Unearth Perth – The Beach Club

The Beach Club Cottesloe

If it’s good enough for Kylie, who was spotted here on the Sunday after her Perth concert recently, it must be worth checking out!

Set slightly back from the iconic Cottesloe beach, but still, with sea views, The Beach Club offers some of the best value for money when eating out I have come across in Perth. There are several areas to choose from, the main restaurant area and several bar areas around the corner, with high bar tables, low tables and chairs, and comfy garden style chairs and couches as well. This place can get super busy but they don’t take bookings, so put your name on the waiting list for a table, grab a drink from the bar and wait for the phone call to say your table is ready (usually 20-30 mins even when it’s heaving).

Their menu is not extensive, but it is fresh, locally sourced and well-portioned (no nouveau-cuisine here!). Mains include beautiful fresh fish, huge burgers and delicious pasta.

They offer wood-fired pizzas which are so tasty and some rotisserie options as well, where you can select lamb, chicken or both. You could also get a couple of starters as a main, their starter portions are huge! They also do a great little kids menu with 3 main meal options at $10 each.

The drinks menu is also good value for Perth, considering you can get a glass of house red, white or sparkling wine for $7.50. And I love the personalised wine glasses with the restaurant’s logo on them!

The Beach Club is also home to the Summer Yoga Series which takes place at 6.30am on Tuesday mornings throughout summer as well as The Green Room – our outdoor cinema, where guests can sit back on a balmy summer night and enjoy a movie free of charge, Tuesday’s from 7.30pm.
