Do you remember back in the day in South Africa, popping down to your local flea market on a Sunday, having a browse through all the unique homemade products, chatting to the sellers, grabbing some yummy lunch and chilling out on the grass?
Well then Perth Upmarket is just the place for you! Held four times a year and held at the most stunning location of UWA’s Winthrop Hall in Crawley, it houses over 150 local and super talented artists, designers, craftsmen and gourmet food producers from Western Australia.
They also have a dedicated junior section and a delicious gourmet section at each market (you have to try the truffle butter if you see the truffle stall and do not miss The Honey Cake – it’s to die for!).
I went to the one in April and it was fantastic! So many amazing products and foods to try – you get samples at all the foodie ones which is great! If you are looking for a unique gift for someone, this is the place to find it!
There are also lots of food stalls and trucks so you can grab a cheap but delicious lunch and carry on browsing the market.
Parking and entry are both free and the venue is easily accessible. And with 3 ATMs onsite it’s easy to spend up a storm!
They also have a regular Wedding Upmarket to which is focused on wedding themed stalls and goods, so if you are planning a wedding in Perth, you need to check this market out!
Have you been to Perth Upmarket before? What did you think and what gorgeous goodies did you come away with?
