Known for having one of the best sunset views in Perth, if you haven’t been to Clancy’s Fish Pub at City Beach for sundowners, you really are missing out!
It seats over 300 and they don’t take bookings so if you want to get a table outside or at the window it’s worth going a little early (before 6:30pm). We have been a few times before 7pm and always got a great window table.
The food here is fantastic and so reasonable for Perth. Most mains are under $30 and as we all know that is real value in Perth! They do excellent fish and chips, you can choose grilled ($26) or battered ($22) and both are delicious.
Last time we went I had the tiger prawn linguine for $25 and it was amazing.
Kids fish and chips is just $10 and grandparents can have kids portions too!
They have a great selection of drinks as well and some really great wines on the cheaper end of the spectrum. Lots of local beers, ales and wines as to be expected. Dessert are pretty spectacular too – I had Nutella cheesecake and it was super rich, definitely an idea to share this one!
Last June we ducked in for a quick bite to eat before the Bastille concert. We were sat next to a table of young people and then I realised it included the drummer from Bastille!! I was so excited and got a photo with him! So you may even spot a celeb or two here!
They often have live music on weekends and like I said the sunsets are just magnificent.
So what are you waiting for? Head on down to Clancy’s – you won’t be disappointed!
