Accounts Clerk – Rowe Group – November 2024
We are seeking a detail-oriented full-time Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will prepare, and process documentation related to accounts payable and receivable while providing essential accounting and clerical support to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable documentation.
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the Finance Manager.
- Accurately type, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Daily enter key financial transactions into the database.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on various activity areas.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Continuously update job knowledge and skills.
- Verify that all documents are correctly signed and processed.
Qualifications:
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Aptitude for numbers.
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
- Excellent data entry and word processing skills.
- Well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Completion of Year 12 certificate required.
